I've had fibre installed on Wednesday, but the router setup is stuck on step 3. I can browse to plusnet site OK, but any other site takes me to the setup screen.

welcome to the forums
Might be worth giving them a call to help get the activation finished off

Hi scottgroovez,
Thanks for your time on the phone.
As discussed you are now online, the account was all activated but it seems that the routers automatic setup was not completing successfully and the router appears to be faulty as it keeps logging you out whenever you click connect on the manual setup.
I've dispatched a new router for you and set you up on a PPPoE connection so you can get online until the new router arrives.
Cheers,
Scott
