Streaming issues - Horrendously low download speeds

Hi,

Had my line in about 4-6 weeks and the download speeds are absolutely horrendous. I've run a test and during the day they're around 3MBP's and in the evening it drops below 2MBP's.

I live alone and only have a couple of devices which rarely run simultaneously yet I struggle to download and watch films/sports due to buffering.

Any advice on what can be done to alleviate this? Apologies I'm not a very techy person so you'll need to use layman terms in any response!

Sorry I probably should add that the streaming issues are when I'm trying to watch films/sport streams via my Firestick plugged into the TV (if that helps?)
