My broadband service is very intermittent. Oatlands in weybridge. Is there a problem?

@Paulk37 It may be just your connection. Are you on an ADSL or FTTC connection, as that will influence the advice other Community members can offer?

Hi john thanks for your response.

it cleared itself by 19.00. i am on adsl. might just have been a heavy loading period.

afternoons the service is generally up and down.

@Paulk37  A good starting point is to have a look at This post and supply as much detail from it as possible.

It would also be a good idea to carry out a 'Quiet Line Test' - dial 17070 from a (preferably corded) phone and select option 2 - there should be no discernable noise.

I suggest you do the Quiet Line Test first, to eliminate voice line faults, as that needs clearing before we can look at the broadband side.
