Squirrelmail problem

Although my POP3 mail works fine with my PlusNet account, for some reason SquirrelMail doesn't seem to be working.
I can log into Squirrel mail, but I can't recieve any mail into the inbox (tested useing another Plusnet account), and I can't seem to send any mail out from the Squirrel mail session either.
There are several old emails in the Inbox that say:
This email is to inform you that your mailbox has been archived.
We have taken this action as you have not accessed your default mailbox since 19:38:15 20/12/2005.
To keep your mailbox active, you need to access it and collect E-Mail at least
once in a 180 day period.

I don't know how this can be the case though, becasue I connect to my mail account many times a day with a regular Outlook client via POP3.
Any ideas?

Re: Squirrelmail problem

I've seen another report recently of someone whose mailbox was archived in error. You need to raise a ticket to ask for it to be restored.
Did you have Outlook set to leave the messages on the server, and if so did you ever clear out the old ones?
