Speeds

My router is connected at 7616, which is great, but since about 9.45 my usenet speed has been reduced to below 10kb, which is ridiculous.
I am on PlusNet Broadband Premier Option 1, which I pay more than most accounts for, because is is still unlimited between midnight and 4pm, not 8am like most accounts.
Can anyone please shed some light on why the speed is so bad?

Have you checked your current gateway against http://www.plus.net/support/network_performance/broadband_packets_drop.shtml ? Some are looking rather busy (presumably loads of people stuck at home who would normally be at work).

Thanks, I was on the first one, which I guess isn't good.
Today was much better, until about 11, now the same, so I will go through these instructions again.
