Speed slowdown

last day or so I have noticed a slowdown on my broadband speed. Just done some speed tests,
tests were performed with the Netgear router plugged into the master socket, no extension cables.
Everything was fine a few days ago. I believe I am on 21cn as doing some speedtests last week, I was getting around 9-10 mbs.
tried to raise a ticket but all I got was "This fault checker is for ADSL products only. Please use the Help Assistant to report a problem with your account."

Your router stats will indicate your ADSL connection and the general rule appears to be test the connection with the offical BT speed tester for accurate results [www.speedtester.bt.com] then post the results for both

Is there any noise on the line when you use your phone?
Have you got any other extensions (used or unused) - if so can you try using the test socket inside the master socket.
Can you reboot your router and then post the router stats.

Did a quiet line test, no noticable noise.
There are other extensions, but have unplugged them and plugged directly into the test socket.
