Speed or lack there of... Again

For the last week I've noticed a drop in my download speed again from 13-14 meg down to 10 meg.
What's broken this time?
regards
Mike

Hi Mike,
I've just taken a look at your line and it's still running between the Cabinet and your Modem at the same rate as it was when our Faults Team last communicated out to you.
What speeds to you get connected directly to the Modem? Was the speed test you run completed by Ethernet?

Re: Speed or lack there of... Again

I'm always connected wired. My computer is directly above the master socket and I use short ethernet cables.

Seems strange if you say nothing has changed Shocked

Is there any difference when connected directly to the Openreach Modem via PPPoE connection?

Re: Speed or lack there of... Again

Sorry for the late reply. As a self employed person I've been so busy until now. I followed the instructions you gave me and connected directly to the modem, Once I remembered my pw  Cheesy
Here's the results of a speedtest PPPoE:

Still under the 13 - 14 Mbps I was getting since the last engineer visit. So I take it the reduced speed is not because of my hardware?
And a result using the router again:

Thanks for that.
Can you please visit http://faults.plus.net and raise a fault so that our Faults Team can investigate further?
