Speed of connection good - webpage loading very slow

Webpages are taking 10-15 seconds to load.
Tracert suggests (below) slow resolution by plusnet? IP addresses no quicker. Any suggestions?

Issue solved, one-drive was causing second hop to be missed.

Hi,
A warm welcome to the forums.
...more to the point, One Drive must have been hammering the link, thereby causing the much lower priority ping traffic to be dropped.  It would be worthwhile looking at your one drive settings and adjusting them so as to not utilise all of the available bandwidth.

You know, when I posted that suggestion, I thought I do hope someone does not ask me how to do that!  I don't know the ins and outs of everything, but I have a good understanding of principles ... and expectations!  However such has landed me in it before ... I reasonably expected drop-box to have file access permission control - the basic product does not!
Drop-box does have the ability to limit the bandwidth it consumes - I rather expected one-drive to do the same.  I do not use one-drive, but having just taken a peek at it, I cannot readily discern any similar controls    May be someone with a better working knowledge of one-drive can advise if there is something hidden some where.  MS products usually do have controls, but not in the place you'd expect to find them!

Haha, I just seem to be having a very similar issue to OP that's all. Speed tests are fantastic, but the speed of the internet on a number of my devices is really slow at the moment. Wanted to try whatever had helped here.
