Hi abhijack,
I've had a look over your connection and your sync speed is currently at 15Mb/s. If possible could you perform 2 more speed tests at http://speedtest.btwholesale.com and run further diagnostics on one of them once the test has completed?
Let me know when you've managed to do that, if you're unsure on anything please let me know.

the engineer did a test with his handheld device at said i should get 78 megs inspte of the estimate being 34 mbps...

Thanks for those results, one more thing to try if you could is performing a speed test with a test login. This will help identify what is causing your speeds to be what they currently are.
You'd need to login to your router, it needs to be set up using the username speedtest@speedtest_domain and password testing and then connect, then run BT speed test window and re-run the test. If this isn't loading please try accessing the site through the IP address: http://193.113.8.194/ as the DNS servers may not work.
Once you've tried that let me know your results of the speed test and also remember to change your details in your router back to your details.

Once you've logged into your router, in the middle of the page you will have a heading of 'broadband connection' and the option of disconnect next to it, click disconnect and then you'll have the option of entering your username and password(you'll need to enter the test logins I provided earlier) and then click connect.

@ chris ..another udate from my side...
when i logged in using my original username i could run the BTW performance test and diagnostics.
After diagnostics i clicked on test further which popped up this screen...

Following on the instructions there as well your instructions I disconnected from abhijack and logged in with speedtest@speedtest_domain and clicked go on tha already undertaken test. Then it did the third part and gave the following result.

thanks for your update on the fault/question i raised..
can you update about the tap 3 there as well please... i.e i could test 1 & 2 using my regular account and continued to test 3 with the test account. results are in above post...
My observations about the connection so far:
thumbs up:
1.download speed has been  stable [sorry i hope i dont jinx it..] at 14 Mb +/- 0.5
2. wireless gives almost same speed as wired...
thumbs down:
1. speed is still less than 50% of the estimated speed  at time of order [34 Mb] and less than 20% of the speed [78 Mb] which engineer said i could get based on his test from master socket.

With the TAP3 test it's nothing from your side that has failed, I've seen this fail a few times lately and it's something we have mentioned to BTw.
