Looks like the disconnection has given you a better sync rate, it's now 17499 so that will give you a profile of 15000 if it stays the same. As the rise is only a small percentage it can take longer to increase, possibly up to 120 hours of being constantly connected.

Fingers crossed though that it does help, again will keep an eye on it.
Should I continue to disconnect once a day or leave it as it is?
Cheers

Definitely don't disconnect, because your profile will not rise if you do.

Still having huge issues with the uploading interfering with things.
Earlier I was trying to upload some files and it just wouldn't upload, it caused xbox to lag out and pages wouldn't load up.
Speed in general seems slow even though speed test is at 9.7.
So basically can not do anything when uploading if it lets me do upload at all, starting to drive me a bit mental now as I need to upload things fairly often. I know I could avoid doing anything else while uploading but I shouldn't have to really.

That may or may not fix the problem but it would certainly allow faster uploads

Just to make sure theyre the same...
Do you have any other filters to hand? experienced a similar problem a few years ago and swapping out (and binning the old) filter did the trick... the "BT" branded filters are abit... pants.

15 Mb
Have changed the filter but can check again just to make sure, would I be better off disconnecting from the routers interface directly so as it not to look like a real disconnection (if that makes sense).

DONT disconnect at all currently, if theres any "uplift" in speeds / interleaving etc, the DLM should do it automagically
PN Staff: whats the current Interleaving depth set to on the line, on US and DS ? or we on automatic/none?
Regards
edit:
whilst
Quote FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
indicates no interleaving - im asking because i know thomsons arent the best at showing correct figures in there.
increasing the interleaving depth on US by 1 may help but you'd lose abit of ping performance (which obviously, isnt good for gaming)

No idea what DLM is but you used automagically so it means I don't have to do anything so no need to know

But it is basically BTs equipment monitoring the line, how many drops it does, failed throughput etc. and adjusts the speed accordingly -- whilst it can be annoying (slow to change profile etc.) it fits its purpose reasonably well.

edit: fixed bodged tag

Quote RAMBO - Rate Adaptive Management Box
Dont annoy him, he might talk slurring his words in an inaudable fashion...
Whilst uncapping the US may alieviate the problem, in my personal opinion i think it will (more likely) compound it (but this is good...) it should make the problem easier to identify
