I raised a ticket #67862626 last night.
Sometime between 10:56am and 9:38pm 3 April, my broadband had a fit, my speed dropped from 13.73 to 2.27 Mbps. (I have a nasty habit of checking such details!). Tried the "Gateway Hop" but didn't resolve anything. Final resort closed down Internet connection, and powered the router off and back on. Still no joy.
I ran BTW Performance Test (wished I took a screenshot now) and prompted me to run a TAP3 test, which I did.
Bit of a surprise result though (in the previous 2 tests it had reported download speed approx 2 Mbps) as it came back with:
BT Performance Tester Tool indicates poor service throughput after 3rd test
13.86 Mbps Download
0.01 Mbps Upload
So... I guess its one way to say there's a problem with my line, and report incorrect figures!
As it currently stands, Speedtest.net reports Download 2.27Mbps, Upload 1.00Mbps
Plusnet Current line speed: 2.4Mb (Estimated 11Mb)
I usually get Download: 13-14Mbps, Upload: 1.00Mbps
Here's the stats from my router:

Hi MsDizzie,
I've run through the usual checks and it's not showing anything out of the ordinary, our faults team will test your line and we'll update you as soon as we have further information.
Chris.

Actually there was something out of the ordinary
Duaine from the Faults Team spotted it as:
Fault located to WP profile being set at 2400 / Now updated to 14400 (there's a BIG difference!)
Now I'm happy again
