Hi.
My speed has come right down the over the last two days, and I can't think what's causing it. I'm only getting about 1000 Kbps when I should be getting a lot more. The router is plugged into the BT test socket (it's always in this!), and I've tested both peak and off peak times (Legacy Premier Option 1).
The latest BT speedtest is as follows:
Download speed achieved during the test was - 1093 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 2000-7150 Kbps.
Your DSL Connection Rate :8566 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 443 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 7557 Kbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 362 Kbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 443 Kbps
Router Stats:
Channel: FAST
Upstream rate = 443 Kbps,
Downstream rate = 8566 Kbps
Link Power State: L0
Mode: ADSL2+
Channel: Fast
Trellis: U:ON /D:ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime
Down Up
SNR (dB): 11.8 26.8
Attn(dB): 36.0 18.8
Pwr(dBm): 0.0 13.1
Max(Kbps): 10084 1108
Rate (Kbps): 8566 443
As far as I know I haven't gone over my usage so there shouldn't be any management active.
Hope someone can help. Thanks!

HI coolyazz,
It's worth keeping an eye on it. Were those tests done wired or wireless.

Hi Jojo,
My router is right next to the primary master socket with wired gigabit network round the rest of the flat. I don't use wireless as security and speed are important issues for me!
