Webmail is set to forward my mail to Outlook Express, but a couple of times a day, it's necessary for me to log on to webmail, go into the spam folder, and weed out three or four messages that are definitely not spam.
Although I toggle them as Not Spam, so that they are then transferred to the Inbox, then forwarded, the webmail program doesn't seem to learn.

That is the solution I used and it seemed to work

Change the setting "How would you like us to deal with messages identified as spam?" to 'Move to Inbox'.
That way you won't have to keep logging into webmail. If you're concerned about false positives, you should also turn off the Edge Protection to see how it goes. But if the amount of actual Spam you get is excessive you may wish to resort back.
As Jim has suggested, Whitelist any regular email addresses that are giving you difficulty. Personally I find it extremely irritating that Postini continues to treat mail from authenticated addresses as Spam and from addresses I have continually reported as NOT Spam

Yes, but the things that I want to receive and which get marked as Spam come from legitimate sources that I have subscribed to and which can safely be unsubscribed from. Therefore these should not be considered as Spam. Others who do not want them can unsubscribe.

some times that is, I was subscribed to an e-mail for about two year, it still got delivered when I changed my main name from free-online to idps to me.uk, when I wanted to unsubscribe, The other half kept sending linked messages and still got the e-mails, she was realy getting annoyed until I looked and realised she was sending from me.uk to a list for idpss I had stopped the other outputs. Had to phone the company and get it done manually, luckily a free call

OK, you know that, but Postini can't necessarily tell if a particular source is legit or not. It has to deal with a large number of emails, all different kinds of messages from different people, so it can only make its decisions based on general information. For example, two doctors might quite reasonably discuss Viagra, but most emails on the subject are spam, so it difficult for a spam filter to tell the difference.

Subject: [-SPAM-] templating system
Can you remind me what the templating system is called again?
Thought I'd remind you of the URL for the canalplan system on this box
which is canalplan.tty.org.uk
and the blog is at
http://canalplan.blogdns.com/canalplanac/
That was an email sent from me to my brother (also on Plusnet) and he tells me that the web interface will not allow him to go in an mark it as NOT SPAM.
When a Spam system decides, for no good reason that ham is spam and refuses to let you tell it otherwise then it becomes as annoying as having to wade through the spam in the first place because if you have to wade through the flagged as spam items to find the ones that ARENT spam then ....

A lot of messages my friends send are of this format and it has irritated many of us to the point of switching off certain parts of the filtering. Whitelisting seems to be the only solution.
In this particular case as the score is not high but seems to be above the threshold of your settings, it's going to be interesting to see what PN have to say.
