Spam Facilities Documentation

I've been receiving an increasing amount of Spam recently so I thought I'd try switching on your spam filtering. When I go into the Manage Mail dialogue it appears it is already on. However no mails have a SPAM prefix and there is nothing in my webmail inbox. Is there something on the site that describes how all this is supposed to work, including new software you are trialling?

Re: Spam Facilities Documentation

Many thanks
I think you should change this need to specifically subscribe to your spam folder. The good news is I've found 971 spam emails but the bad news is delete has problems:
ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.
Query: COPY 1:956 "INBOX.Trash"
At 811, it left 255, which is not too bad but nevertheless an error.

Re: Spam Facilities Documentation

How many emails did you have listed on each page.
I have found that I received that error when I listed over 200. I now stick to 100.
An error also seems to appear if the Trash box gets too full. Try deleting all the trash at around 500 before moviong any more into it.

Re: Spam Facilities Documentation

This Spam outbreak is going to cause some problems. I just found 3070 of them in my webmail Trash folder. Curiously Purge cleared out all of them bar about 200 in one go.
