Some kind of meltdown this morning?

Really odd.... this isn't actually an issue as such i'm just curious Smiley
Was there some kind of meltdown on the PN/BT systems at about lunchtime? I happened to run a speedtest, and found that my line was getting 2.3-3Mb out of the normal 6.5-7. Thought it was probably a dodgy gateway so I rebooted the router, still same speeds... so I tried a different speed test server and ran BT speed test too... still the same result.
Phoned up CSC and was told to start doing the usual 3 speed tests then raise a fault. and then suddenly about 15 minutes later everything fixed itself!
Very strange Smiley any ideas?

Hi severedsolo,
Just checked our systems and not had any issues that we are aware of. So, no obvious explanations for that one I'm afraid!

Are not sports events taking a heavy toll of available bandwidth at the Exchanges?
