Some help please - order tracker

Hey, ive just ordered unlimited broadband with plus net (migrating from aol). And basically on the order tracker its on the "checking your details" step - and it says:
"Sorry - we found a problem whilst checking your details.
Our support team will now make more checks and email you as soon as possible. "
So i phoned up and the person on the phone said everything is fine and my broadband will be activated on the 27th.
So just wondering why it still says that in the order tracker? is it an error and will update soon enough and il receive an email? or is there still a problem. Bit confused!
Thanks

Hi KaotiK,
I'll check it in the morning, if it hasn't updated I'll make sure it's in the correct state for you.

That's sorted that, it should now show that the order is processing.

Re: Some help please - order tracker

Just one more question please. My router's MTU size is currently set to 1450 (because AOL had told me to change it to that a while back) just wondering what it should be for plusnet? or isit fine at 1450?

Re: Some help please - order tracker

The only thing that may make a significant difference is if the MTU on your PC is less than the MTU on the router.
As I've never seen a router MTU being bigger than the PC MTU cause problems if MTU path discovery is turned on on the PC (as it should be by default), I tend to say make the router MTU the maximum possible (1500) and forget it, but if all is well with your existing settings then you can leave well alone.
