Hi,
I PM'ed Chris initially on Friday, but I don't think he's around at the moment. Also Adam this morning. Can I ask a nice plusnet member of staff to look into this for me?
- Request to have my line speed unlocked as our area has just been upgraded to ADSL2+ (currently my line is locked at 6.8mb) but neighbours are just getting 20mb with BT Unlimited
- Additionally, could I have my SNR unlocked (It is currently locked near 6db). It was locked to avoid unexplainable line disconnections lowering our speed - even though two BT engineers came round and confirmed we have a fantastic line and should be getting top speeds and easily above 6db SNR - like we did before joining PlusNet. A year later, It turned out to be the original plusnet modem being faulty. After replacing it with the new plusnet 2704n model we stay connected for weeks at a time. This means we feel very confident about having our line SNR returned to being unlocked.
I would prefer to carry this conversation on privately via PM.
Thanks
Colin Purves

Hi Adam,
Checking you got my PM following up your reply here?
Can you fire me a PM when you've issued the order and could you remind me how long it takes for the order to have an effect.
Thanks
Colin

I've submitted the DLM reset for you which should bring that down within the next 24 hours.
With regards to speeds themselves nothing shows amiss on diagnostic test results at all but do let me know beyond the time frame I've just mentioned.
