Re: So whats actully happening to customers broadband speeds?

Chris can you turn off interleaving then please, as it used to be off and connection was great. Btw 40ms aint an issue if playing on uk hosted game servers but when connected to any others then you can add 20-30 on that. For me the ping being lowest possible is better for me.

Re: So whats actully happening to customers broadband speeds?

btw I just came across this post http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,124783.0.html
That same thing was happening to me a week ago, so ive just checked my dns settings and needed to set them back to the ones stated, I did update my firmware about a month ago so wonder if this may have changed them. I use the Netgear DGN2200v3 Router.
Btw chris have you put my interleaving Off request in yet ? Smiley

Re: So whats actully happening to customers broadband speeds?

Just logged onto the net and noticed my pings going up again and my speeds are dropping again, also if you look at the router status my noise margin has gone up from 5.9 to 9.1 So something is not right, any ideas chris/adam ?

Re: So whats actully happening to customers broadband speeds?

shhhhh  Cheesy

Ok can someone check if interleaving is still off on my connection, because it was turned off 2 week ago and my ping dropped for atleast 4 days back to 16ms, then each day it went up again. I must be honest my connection is more stable than what is was 2 months ago, I just don't understand why my ping keeps going up to around 38-49 but never any higher. Also the noise margin on my router is still around 9.1 up from 5.9db.
