Nope, but im saying its not a global cockup on the traffic management on plusnet - else it would of been noticed by everyone - would it not...
Uptime ? Did you reconnect and get re-assigned the default traffic management profile during a maintenance window..?
Details sir, details Smiley

Re: Slow youtube?

OK, So Youtube looks like its undergone some more configuration changes.
I no longer have a silver "buffering" bar, and when i skip, the video plays from that point *instantly* (or at least, less than <1 sec) are you guys seeing the same? I dont know how theyve done that tbh  Shocked

Re: Slow youtube?

Yeah mine played almost straight away still took a while to load the rest after I skipped, but coped quite well if I skipped ahead a few times.

Re: Slow youtube?

Not a big user of YouTube but I don't recall ever being **unable** to skip ahead, even beyond the current download point. When I've done this there has always been a linespeed burst to buffer ahead, then the normal lower speed dribble.
I think there was a brief period where everything loaded in a linespeed burst, but that was short-lived.
This has been using FireFox on Vista.
