Slow connection, particularly at night

My internet connection is a bit hit & miss since I migrated to plusnet. Nothing changed other than the line being moved to plusnet from talktalk.

I'm unsure if this is a plus net router thing (I was using my own before as talk talk supplied one kept dropping) or something else. Can I have some assistance with this?

A simple check you could perform is to substitute your own modem/router for the PN one. If that doesn't work try running through as much of this topic as possible/necessary - .https://community.plus.net/t5/ADSL-Broadband/ADSL-Speed-faults/m-p/1270245#M297501

I'm sorry to see you're experiencing connection problems since moving to us. I've tested your line today and while we can see your connection is dropping which would be likely causing the speed issues, the tests aren't showing the cause for this.

If you can make sure your router is plugged into the master socket as explained Here I'd recommend raising a fault to us online at http://faults.plus.net so we can arrange an engineer with you to investigate the fault further.

Feel free to post back once you've raised the fault and/or if you need any further assistance and we'll be happy to pick this back up as soon as we can.
