Slow Speed

Hi all,
Having an intermittent problem with my DSL connection. Speed seems to have dropped and is now fluctuating from 3Mb to 0.1. (this is wired). Our normal speed is around 14Mb.
Line is normally super stable, nothing has changed our end.

Re: Slow Speed

Are you able to try your router in the test socket, also with a new micro filter
Can we also see the speeds on: https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
Info for getting to the bt test socket: http://www.coolwebhome.co.uk/faceplate/
Might also be worth raising a fault at https://fault.plus.net but they will ask for the above to be done anyway during the fault checks

Re: Slow Speed

Speed has gone back to normal on its own. If it goes back down I shall try what you suggest. Is it possible to see a graph of connectivity?
Requested info:
Estimated line speed:
There's no speed estimate currently held on your account.
Current line speed:
    15.1 Mb

Re: Slow Speed

If it does go back down then I'd try the test socket, one of the PN team will be able to post your connection graph.
