Re: Slow FTTC

Hi Ratbert,
I've booked the engineer for tomorrow AM(9-1), let me know how you get on.

Re: Slow FTTC

Thanks Chris,
I assume I'll see the ticket update when the site is back online.

Re: Slow FTTC

Quite unsurprisingly there are no faults with my line.
I assume I'm not allowed to have vdsl profile 8b because it's too high power from the cabinet?
Essentially FTTC is a bit of a con. Might as well move back to adsl, at least I knew what the modem was doing.

Re: Slow FTTC

Accounts were very helpful, which is why I decided to go with plusnet  for the fibre, in case it was a disaster  Grin
I will be staying, just with adsl2. I do realise that it's BT rather overselling "Fibre broadband" rather than the ISPs

Re: Slow FTTC

Hi,
I can see you've arranged to move to ADSL2, your tickets have been updated too.
If there's anything else please let me know.
