Slow Download Speeds

Hi there
I've just started having trouble with my download speeds today, which were fine last night. Just thought I'd ask to see if I could get any help.
I've attached my router stats, the results of a Connectivity check on my router and some speed test results using broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk as I couldn't get any other speed checker to work.
Thanks
John

Re: Slow Download Speeds

Hi
Sorry for the delay, I had to try several times for the BT test to work.
The results plus my line speed are attached.

Re: Slow Download Speeds

Apologies, I misread your post. I'm attempting to run the Further Diagnostics now.

Re: Slow Download Speeds

I keep receiving the error message below when I attempt to run Further Diagnostics, but I will keep attempting to retry whilst I wait for a response.
Also added the latest speedtest result just to show that the latency isn't an issue.

Re: Slow Download Speeds

Finally got it to work. Should I continue with the 3rd test or is this all the information you require?

Re: Slow Download Speeds

Given that it doesn't explain the problem - please do the next test

Re: Slow Download Speeds

I'm having trouble following the instructions on how to do the 3rd test.
I get the instructions shown in the attachment below, but when I follow these I do not get the option to change the name of the user. If I try to create a new user with the name speedtest@speedtest_domain I get an error message for using a name with the @ symbol in it.
Using the Windows 7 specific instructions (also shown below) I just reach a dead end where the thing the instructions is telling to do is not possible as the option to do so does not exist.
Any Advice?

Re: Slow Download Speeds

That is rather confusing
What you need to do is change the username etc. in the router
If the router demand a password just type in blank
The reference to Windows is if you have a usb modem

If I try to change the username I just come up to the message shown in the attachment below and if I try to add a new user, as I said before, I just get an error message (also shown below).

Re: Slow Download Speeds

You have it wrong
You change your username or ASDL login setting in the router from  username@plusdsl.net to speedtest@speedtest_domain
i don't have that router so I can't be any more specific

Re: Slow Download Speeds

Well in that case I know what my current user is, but I have no idea where I need to go in my router options to make such a change.
I've been looking around the options for the past 10 minutes and I can't find anything that will allow me to do so.
I'm using a Thomson TG585v8 if you can give me any help.
