Slow Connection for several days - Plusnet Help Please

I'm hoping that someone from Plusnet can take a look at my line and see if something has been changed recently.

My ADSL is on a long line but has very low noise, I can normally get Internet speds of over 3M and ADSL speeds over 4M

For some reason, over the past week the speed has dropped by over 1M, so that my Internet speed is now just over 2M.

My router reports that the SNRM is stable at about 2.5 - 3 and at that margin I should get the usual ADSL at a little over 4M & Internet at just over 3M, nothing has changed on attenuation either so I'm guessing there's a limit set somewhere.

After a power cut last night, my Internet speed is now below 2M. According to  DSLSTATS, the SNRM is down to 2.2 with CRC errors at just about zero. 

I'm guessing there's a throttle set somewhere but, I have a different router that I'll try to see if it makes a difference.

Fix

Problem solved, at least for now....

 

I swapped my Billion router for an old BT 2701, the Internet speed is now back up to over 3M as it used to be. 

 

More investigation to follow but no Plusnet action needed for now.
