Seriously?

Awake with a sore throat and unable to sleep, I decided to catch up on some stuff on Iplayer. I have given up as I can get nothing to play without stuttering and assume this lack of speed is the problem.
Hope it improves later  Roll_eyes

Re: Seriously?

After a router reboot its better, but not really good enough.

Have been really disappointed with Plusnet so far, but it seems most ISP's using BTW are the same. I am loath to use Sky as I dislike their company ethic, but if thesepoor speeds carry on I may have no choice.

Re: Seriously?

Better at the moment after switching router off for 20 minutes, then turning back on.  Only just had chance to do stats as I have been at the gym.
I am assuming there has been an issue somewhere on the network?

Re: Seriously?

I don't think there are any known issues - best keep an eye on it. If it happens again, try to note which gateway you're on - http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway/

Re: Seriously?

Line appears ok according to stats, but speed is awful again at the moment

Could it be anything to do with the fact BT replaced a telephone pole at the end of our street?  The line from our house goes to the pole on our street, then on to the pole that has been replaced. This on and off speed loss seems to have started since the new pole was installed  Cry
I am currently on Gateway ptw-ag02 and there appears to have been a ppp1 LCP down at around 7am.
Really hope I am not going to have the problems I had in October as they took months to resolve.

Re: Seriously?

I've had a look and can't see anything from ours or our suppliers side of things.
Does this happen at a particular time of day or does it only happen when it's raining for example?

Re: Seriously?

What are the stats you've attached to reply #4 like when it's going slow?

Re: Seriously?

Connection is always wired.  Will keep an eye on stats when this happens.
Appears to be back to "normal" for the moment.

Re: Seriously?

This is looking like contention - which exchange are you on?
