Re: Same Connection Problem

I'm sure the Plusnet Tech. Support staff will pick this up when they return to duty on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, when you say "main socket", did you unscrew the faceplate to access the Test Socket underneath?  It is quite important to use this because removing the faceplate will (assuming your telephones are wired correctly) cut-off all your extension sockets and internal wiring and thereby prevent any possibility these are interfering with your broadband (which, statistically, is quite likely).

Re: Same Connection Problem

Thanks for your reply I have no test socket it is just the first telephone that brings the connection into the house.

Re: Same Connection Problem

Then I don't think it really matters what socket you use (provided your wiring is not faulty).

Re: Same Connection Problem

Have you got anything (telephone, emergency button, alarm, Sky box...) plugged in to any other socket and if so is it filtered as well as the filter for the router?

Re: Same Connection Problem

Sorry to hear about the problems you've had. I've just checked and can see that the connection was dropping out almost precisely every 28 minutes, however I can see that changed last night and it's been up constantly for over 15 hours so everything looks fine now. Did anything change at 23:29 last night?

Re: Same Connection Problem

Adam: I suspect he realised what the problem was as a result of my reply #4!
