SamKnows

Afternoon people.
The SamKnows exchange & broadband package checker says i can get Plusnet Fibre, but its not an option when i try to upgrade?
Is their info wrong?

you need to use this https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html as I doubt that Samknows looks a cab space availability

looks like your cabinet isn't fibre enabled (yet) or you're unlucky enough to have a direct line to the exchange..

It is possible that a cabinet will be installed outside the exchange, as was for me.

When I put my phone number into Samknows the exchange it told me that I was connected to was different to the exchange the BTW site gave me.
I assume BTW is more accurate than Samknows in this regard?

The problem is...  there are some cabs (usually in more rural areas)  which are attached to another larger exchange when it comes to vdsl.
In other words your phone line goes to 'X' exchange, but the FTTC cab goes back to 'Y' exchange.
