SNR reset please

Evening,
Could someone from Plusnet do an SNR reset on my line please? I've been playing around with routers today and the amount of disconnections seems to have increased my SNR margin to 12db where as it sat nearer 6db this morning.
Cheers
Dan

Re: SNR reset please

I have had my SNR reset through a ticket before. Why not ask them? What's the worst that could happen?

Re: SNR reset please

Realistically we should be resetting the SNR as part of a fault investigation really. As you know why the SNR has increased we'll sort out a reset for you when back in the office tomorrow.

Re: SNR reset please

Hi c0dec,
I've requested that for you. I'll check in a bit to see if it's taken effect and make any changes necessary on our side.

Re: SNR reset please

Hi c0dec,
This has now taken effect and I've raised your profile to 5000. You should see the increase in your profile in the next 15 minutes.

Re: SNR reset please

c0dec, would you mind posting all your problems in one thread as it is a bit confusing for people trying to help you.
Thank you.

Re: SNR reset please

Hi,
This is more of a request and as Jo is extremely helpful this is the only way to contact her. My other thread is unrelated.

Joanne won't be able to put up the Plusnet profile up until the BT IP profile has increased. What is a BT speedtest showing the IP profile as?

Until the profile increases to 7000kbps. Joanne will not be able to do anything.

Re: SNR reset please

@c0dec,
I've just had a look at your account. I've noticed frequent disconnections, are you rebooting your router at all?
If not you might want to consider raising a fault as that issue will stop the IP profile from increasing: https://portal.plus.net/apps/kbdfaults
