I find it strange that it just jumped from 6 to 12db, and has stayed that way.
Could some kind soul at plusnet please reset that stupid DLM ?
Thanks,

There will have been a reason for the change. Are you using any extension cables/sockets?

I have a xte2005 faceplate on the master box, with one extension from to the loft that is filtered by the faceplate.
The router is fitted to the faceplate on a 50cm lead.
It has been this way for 16 months + .
The loss of sync and raised snr from 6 to 12db came out of the blue.
Before and after this event the line remained stable, please look at the logs you have.
BTW some weeks ago bt had a fault at our exchange that affects quite a few people, when i managed to phone the faults number, i had a automated response saying they knew about a fault and were dealing with it !
Plusnet checked and could not find any info on this, at the time !
Could you please reset the snr for me ?
Thanks,
Paul.

Ok, I'll give it a go. Hopefully it will do the trick. If it does go up again, you may have to consider looking into your internal set up.

Just wondering, how long does it take for the reset to happen ?
Also do i need to retrain the router manually or does the reset your end invoke a router reset here ?
Thanks,
Paul.

You won't have to reset, it'll be done from their end. It can take up to 24 hours but can happen a lot sooner.

I assume the snr reset has started a 10 day training period, will the profile be updated your end over the next day or two, or will it be updated after 10 days ?
Thanks,
Paul.
