SNR Reset Please

Hi,
Please could I request an SNR reset. I have been trying out a couple of new routers to see which one gives the best line performance. My line is usually very stable with an SRNM of 3db.
Many thanks,
Tim

Hi TIm,
Welcome to our community forums Smiley
I've placed a SNR reset on your line, this usually take up to 4 hours to implement.
Let me know how you get on.

Re: SNR Reset Please

Hi Chris,
I've not had any re-syncs on my router. Could you confirm that the SNR reset went through ok yesterday?
On a side note, I have noticed that there is a high pitched noise coming from the new Technicolour TG582n router I recieved yesterday. Is that normal?
Many thanks,
Tim

Re: SNR Reset Please

The SNR reset did go through although didn't set your downstream dB to 3, I've spoken with our suppliers who have now amended this.
I've spoken with our products team to regarding your router and we should be able to get a replacement out for you.

Re: SNR Reset Please

I've just performed a manual re-sync but still getting 6db down. Is it just a case of waiting?
Thanks,
Tim.

Re: SNR Reset Please

Ok, line just re-synced at an SNRM of 3db. Gained almost 2Mbps in extra speed  Cool  Thanks for all your help with this Chris. Am very pleased.

Re: SNR Reset Please

Hi Chris,
Thanks for sending out the replacement router so quickly, it is much quieter than the last one.
Sorry to be a pain. I have had some problems with streaming since the downstream SNRM was reduced to 3db. Am getting around 500 Errored Seconds per hour and many more CRC errors. Please could I request the the SNRM be changed/reset back to 6db?
Many thanks,
Tim

Re: SNR Reset Please

Hi Tim,
Glad the new router helped, your downstream dB has been changed too.
