Hi all.
Some of you may remember the last rumour I heard about Durban ( http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,68368.0.html ).
Well I have now heard another rumour that +net are pulling out of Durban for CS due to the number of complaints about them.
Is this true ?. If so then I can only say that this is a step in the right direction for +net to once again proudly say "Our customer support centres are 100% UK based"
Or (as I have also heard), in addition to Durban they may also be going to outsource to additional call centres somewhere else like India or The Phillipines.
Any truth in any of this????

Hi,
I think the rumour mill's getting a little confused and probably misinterpreting our current recruitment plans. We're recruiting for a lot of staff in Sheffield at the moment within the support teams (Sales, Customer Support and Tech), as well as other roles in the business, there's quite a few listed here:
http://careers.plus.net/
We're growing at quite a rate as a business at the moment so there's lots of progression internally as people are upskilled and move to new positions within the business and lots of room for new people to come in in Sheffield. Like I say not sure where the Durban rumour comes from or the India and Phillipines one, think you are just seeing the recruitment being big in Sheffield right now and putting 2 and 2 together and getting 108.
