Routers

Would like to know if there might be the possibility of a power-save option for Plusnet routers in the not too distant future?

Re: Routers

I've not bothered checking my 585v8 but doubt it uses much power.
I never turn it off but that would be the only possible power saving option.

Re: Routers

According to the datasheet - http://marcomtelecomms.co.za/WebFiles/Residential%20Wireless/TG585%20v8/Datasheet%20585v8.pdf
Quote
ECO: Low Power State of CoC v3
As THOMSON takes ecological concerns seriously, the housings of all our generic modem, router and gateway product lines already comprise 100% recyclable plastics.
The THOMSON TG585v8 is also compliant with CoC v3 Low Power State.
Additionally, customers that want to turn off wireless completely, can do so via the GUI. Turning off wireless gives a power reduction of more than 12% in some cases(2).
To improve Wi-Fi power efficiency on Wi-Fi phones, WMM(1) Power Safe can be handled on a case by case basis.

What more do you think is necessary ?
