Router reporting G.992 instead of G.992.5

I just posted it up because Oldjim asked me to for reference purposes. ADSL2+ won't be kicking in till tomorrow apparently.  
Should I try the test socket again or should I leave it till tomorrow?
Edit: Also, I collected some info yesterday, my BT line profile is 6.3 Mbps. Why is it different to the one I'm seeing in router stats? This is the info:

I would connect to your test socket and leave it there until your line is working properly... connecting/disconnecting can make things appear much worse.

Because the IP Profile is always 88.2% of the bandwidth figure on your type of connection. Nothing to worry about.
As has just been said, just leave things now until you expect to be on ADSL2+ :). These stats will indeed be useful for comparison.

Better! There won't be any speed restriction on all the P2P stuff they do .... ROFL!
It's a free upgrade, but it does start a new 12-month minimum term.

Your PlusNet profile probably hasn't caught up with the increase yet.  What does this say https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed for Line Speed ?
Your sync is still a bit low for the reported attenuation , are you still in the test socket ? and are there any extension sockets still live when you use the test socket ?

Right now, no, the test socket is in the study and it's a bit of a warzone atm! I'll move it back down as soon as I can.
Plusnet is reporting my current and estimated line speed at 6mb. So I guess it hasn't caught up?
Edit: Also, not sure if this is relevant but my mum said that initially, when they emailed here the estimate, it was 4.5mb. What's up with that?

I've matched your profile to match your current sync speed, I'd suggest trying your <a href="http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/master-socket-guide.shtml#whatsTest">test socket</a> and see if there's any difference.

That's good so far.
However as has been said, you shoudl be getting more than 12,404kbps badwidth/sync.  A lot more!
On 25dB attenuation I would expect most lines to be on at least 16Mbps and good ones possibly around 18Mbps.
Edit - I made a typo there - "badwidth". Smart - I'll leave it in the circs.

No, but we need stats from the test socket.  (Just to be sure, that's the one the master faceplate plugs into). If the figure is good there you have a wiring or router problem.  If it's bad there you need to raise a ticket.

Sorry for the blatant bump guys! 
Was just wondering if anything else can be done to improve my speed? I think Estragon was right, isn't my sync speed a little low given the attenuation?
