Router needs to be switched on and off to maintain connection

We have a BT Business 009 Hub 2 wire 2701 I think, and have several phones pads and computers in the house . It seems to lose contact and has to be switched on and off to get going again,to regain internet  How would I remedy this ? Thanks

Re: Router needs to be switched on and off to maintain connection

If your having to reboot the router to bring the connection back it normally points towards a faulty router.
Is it possible to try another one?

Re: Router needs to be switched on and off to maintain connection

Thank you I will later but my connection works well with the 2 wire which BT provided when I had problems  I have a Technicor and access to a Vodafone one  later  today. I have a large family here with many devices all trying to use my distant line  The connection is there but not on their pads and phones, stays up for hours and then fails needing to reboot router
