Router flashing red

Hello a week ago the area I live in got a power surge, the internet stopped working. They fixed the problem but my router has not been working properly since. Is there a problem in the area or is it my router.

I'm sorry to hear that your connection isn't working. We've tested your line and identified an issue that needs an engineer visit to investigate further.

Can you raise a fault here and post back once you've done so?

This will allow us to get that picked up straight away for you

Hello the engineer has been out today and he has filed a report too you, too say my router is not working very well.
He has said we need a new one.
Could you please let me no how I go about getting a new one.
