Re: Router Suitability .

Check out this thread here http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,109784.0.html , they were sent an ADSL version of the router by mistake. If that's the case then its possible to reprogram it with the correct firmware for Fibre.
Does yours have the red sticker on LAN port 4 ? and is the broadband light flashing ?
Might be worth a try reflashing the f/w, if you've got internet access to download the files, rather than waiting for the replacement.
All the others you have are ADSL modem/routers and are not suitable I'm afraid.

Re: Router Suitability .

If your profile is set at 77.44 should you not be on the 80/20 connection, might have been capped by mistake at 40/10 speeds, might be worth checking.

I wouldn't have expected that to flash at all on the Fibre version, I suspect you might still have the ADSL f/w. I'd be inclined to flash it with the Fibre f/w anyway and see if that fixes it. Can't be any worse that it is now Smiley

Re: Router Suitability .

I've seen a couple of these over the last few days, for those of you that seem to have received the incorrect firmware on the router can you let me know the 'Item Code' that's shown on the front of the box (normally on the label in the top right corner).

Re: Router Suitability .

Should be sorted now. You may need to log in to the router and disconnect/reconnect.

That's looking a lot better,
See how things go over the weekend. I think it would be worth seeing if the connection remains stable:
