Try another one! I could suggest a few options:
1. Buy another one - Netgear DG834, Thompson 585 and 2wire 2700GHV are often recommended, and can be found cheaply on eBay, for example.
2. Borrow a known working one from someone.
3. Ask PN nicely and they will probably lend you one.
4. Raise a support ticket agreeing to stay for 12 months an to pay &6.99 P&P and PN will send you a shiny new router.

Hi valart,
The red light will come on momentarily during a boot from cold (ie power up) or reboot. If you get a power dip/cut this will happen.
Bearing in mind some of your previous posts why do you think the router is playing up? There are lots of things to take into account and it may be useful to get some of that friendly help you've mentioned so you can post router "Broadband Line Status page" stats. You can then post back some more questions based on comments.
If your "help" is not available post back and we'll try and guide you through.
