Connect the router to the test socket as explained here http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,96155.0.html
Then note the CRC errors after a couple of hours then at intervals after.
The totals will give a very good indication whether the problem is with your internal wiring or somewhere between you and the exchange

Do you have another router you can try,
If not I suggest raising a fault at https://faults.plus.net as the standard testing may show up a problem
It would appear that you had most of the errors over night when the noise margin would be at its lowest but there is a slow increase in reported faults which shouldn't be there

Hi there,
I'd echo that - we've seen a few drops on the line which would be well worth looking into.
What confuses me though is the fact that in your update above, OldNetUser, your figures show the errors climbing by approximately 12 per hour which isn't a lot. Are you rebooting the router (i.e. powering off then on again) at all? If not, the figure there might just be accumulated over a lot of connections to us. If it just shows the errors for a single connection though it'd suggest that occasionally you get bursts of noise on the line causing large amounts of errors for short periods - do you ever notice noise on the line when you're using the phone?

One suggestion
If you don't mind ask for the upstream to be capped at 448kbps and see if it fixes or at least ameliorates the problem
