Hi,
I've been connected with Plusnet for 2 weeks now and during the weekend I fitted a new ADSL filter plate to my master socket and connected the router direct to it.
Could I request the line to be retained as my router is only showing a sync speed of 3000kbps and attenuation is 47dB. I am posting from work now so do not have the SNR margin at hand, but remember it is over 10dB.
Could the low sync speed be because of the previous need to increase the SNR margin to get a stable sync? Would a SNR reset suffice?
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Hi there,
I've just submitted an SNR reset which should trigger the line retraining. One outcome you should realistically expect is that it might not change anything. With the 47db noise margin dropping the SNR any lower might cause disconnections and that would be totally counter-productive.
Lets see how this goes and do give us a shout if nothing changes as a result of this.
