Reply Notifications - new & 0ld q's

There doesn't seem to be any easy way to see which topics I have set notifications for other than clicking the notify button and getting a message to disable it - or have I missed something obvious?
Also, I don't seem to be getting any notifications sent from these fora. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi,
If you go to http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;sa=notification you should be able to see which notications you are subscribed to.
You appear to have a bad email address stored in the database for your account. You should be able to see what it is set to, and change it at http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;sa=account

Re: Reply Notifications - new & 0ld q's

Thanks for the link.
The email address is username@plusnet.com.
Edit: I've also noticed that each time I have posted something I am sent back to the topic list rather than remain within the posted topic.
I have the correct settings made in Profile.
Edit2: Having posted the above edit I remained within the topic.

That doesn't look like a valid email to me!

Re: Reply Notifications - new & 0ld q's

That's the address that was there by default. As I was receiving notifications (not all of them, though) from the old fora I never thought of checking this out.
I'll change it, thanks.
Edit: Once again, adding the above post sent me to the topic list but Modifying seems to work OK.

In your profile, under Look and Layout Preferences, have you got Return to topics after posting by default. selected?
Edit: It took me to this reply when I hit post.

Re: Reply Notifications - new & 0ld q's

I'm still getting new posts returning me to the Topic lists with modified posts remaining.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
It's not a major issue but niggling nevertheless.

As quoted by Jelv. You need to go to profile at the top of the page and then select layout look and Preferences on the left of the page it takes you to.
Then make sure you have a tick in the box that says return me to the topic after posting.

Re: Reply Notifications - new & 0ld q's

Re-reading the advice I think I now understand. I didn't have this ticked as I had assumed by the fact it said Topics that it meant the list of topics rather than the topic you were posting from.
I have now ticked that option
Edit: it works as expected. Sorry for the confusion Embarrassed

Glad it's sorted for you now.
Don't worry I am still finding my way around the finer points of this new forum.  Wink
