Repeated problems since switching to Plusnet

Hi since joining from Talktalk I have been having repeated problems. The broadband keeps dropping and reconnecting at a very slow speed - it was always a steady 15000 kbps with Talktalk. Also the phone line is very noisy - lots of crackling on the line.
These problems only started when I joined Plusnet - never had any trouble with Talktalk.

Could be a dodgy connection at the exchange, when your line was moved from TalkTalk kit to the BT Wholesale kit.

I'm thinking along those lines - since nothing has changed at home other than the new Plusnet router.

Can you go through the checks here: http://www.plus.net/support/phone/troubleshooting.shtml and use the Phone Troubleshooter if you're still having issues. This reports the phone fault straight to us.

I've done this but it says there is no problem.

From what I can see you haven't used the phone troubleshooter?
If you go through it again it'll submit a report to our Faults team who can investigate further.

I have used it and it reported "We haven't found any problems with your phone line." And I've just tried again with the same result.

Thanks I have discovered the ADSL filter was faulty and it has been replaced.
