Appreciate you taking the time out to reply and give folks an update.
While I was able to log in to the router after 11pm last night and again this morning, I still can't get online. Like Aharis, the router seems to have a different username and password allocated to it so I assume that's why there are ongoing authentication issues. Do you think those issues are something Plusnet will be resolving during today?

(woohoo they updated the status lol)
Click broadband and follow instructions to reset username. Not home yet to try this but hopefully it'll help other folks on this thread if they haven't seen it already elsewhere.

Came home from work and the box seemed to have sorted itself out! And my name was in the background of the router too.
