Re: Recent resyncs

The current versions of RouterStats work fine on the Thomson TG585v7 and v8. Set the Thomson and ST585v6 and v7 radio buttons, tick login and remember password and enter the router login details (admin and CP,,, (serial number, all letters capitals)).
For configuring graphs I suggest following the guidance in this post.

Re: Recent resyncs

Thanks spraxyt.
That's exactly what I had done but when I looked at the Router Search Text tab it seemed like it wasn't displaying the relevant info. I should have scrolled down which I did this time.
I have had at least two more resyncs: one last night to around 4000 and my profile dropped to 3500 and again this morning about 6 hours ago:
Quote
Maximum Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 928 / 5,056
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 832 / 4,896

Re: Recent resyncs

I don't think there's any need to touch the Router Search Text tab unless setting up User Defined entries. The programmed in configuration knows where to find the standard values.

Re: Recent resyncs

Thanks spraxyt.
Actually, on top of the other issue I have found that I, too, am suffering from the upload issues with the v8 Thomson supplied last year by PN. Hasn't been used since then till now but upload on both my wife's PC and the laptop were reported as 0.1Mb yet my wired connection was showing as 0.7Mb.
I've now connected an old v7 which has sorted the upload problem.
Running RouterStats and will have to reboot in the morning as swapping routers caused the sync to drop to 4448 Sad

Re: Recent resyncs

I rebooted on the morning of the 22nd and have stayed at 4896 since yet my BT profile hasn't lifted to 4000.
Is there anything I need to do this end or is there a further problem?

Hi Mav,

Re: Recent resyncs

Those were further reboots in the hope it would resync higher again.
It seems my assumption that as long as the sync didn't go back down I'd be ok was totally wrong  Sad

Re: Recent resyncs

Because the profile is only increasing by 500k it will take a lot longer to go up.

Re: Recent resyncs

Hi Jojo
The uptime is now almost 80 hours but no sign of a profile increase on BT's side.
Anything needing to be done?
Cheers.

It's about 70 hours at the mo, so I'm sure it'll kick in soon.

Re: Recent resyncs

Something strange (another one :D). BT profile is still 3500 but the PN profile is showing as 4000. Don't know when it went to 4000 but was like it last night.
