Reason for an "event" just after 2AM 8 April?

My apologies if this is a silly question but I'm curious as to the possible reason for the event at just after 2 AM this morning. My latency has dropped & my gateway has changed from Pcl-ag01 to Ptn-ag02. I was asleep at the time so it's nothing to do with me!

Does you area code come up for any maintenance here http://status.zen.co.uk/broadband/ ?
Is more than likely some kind of planned work - a lot of BT maintenance is at 2:00 am

It's very likely that it was caused by BT Maintenance, we've got quite a lot going on during this week.

There's some planned for the 9th covering 01425 because it's also covering my town to 01590. But think yourself lucky that latency has dropped

I believe the drop may have been in reference to: PW237010

Thanks Chris, just curious. As always it's also knocked a couple of Megs off my D/L speed but hopefully that will recover over time?
