left error checking on. last count 60 crc errors in 4hrs.
will check tomorrow. do pn need 3 days worth of crc errors to raise an issue what no. over what period would be an issue?

those errors are negligible so I wouldn't focus too much on them to be honest.

is there anything that could be done to have the SNR reset to 6 or 9 as I have had before. it lasted quite a while when last done and made a difference to to sync. or am I clutching at straws in asking 🙂

Yes i am in test socket. I have a adsl nation faceplate which connects directly to test socket so in theory i suppose i am always in test socket. Though the stats from last night which indicated 60 plus crc errors were overnight with another filter directly in the test socket in place of the adslnation plate.
the rate of crc errors and stats are the same between 2 routers and 4 filter all directly into the test socket and with and without the home phone plugged in.

anything you can do would be greatlt appreciated.

The line's not looking too bad at the moment, let's see if there are no drops by tomorrow and I'l look at it again.

one reboot about 5:30pm as router was not being found by home network.

I have only just found last nights post re trying to reset the SNR
would it be possible to reset it just now 🙂

2 or 3 reboot at 23:24 to 23:28 as i was trying to change tp ppoa
which should I be on ppoa does not connect.

I tried them becuase i found connection details that suggested ppoa and other posts in the forums that mention ppoa. So I thiought I would try it but to no avail. Should have been connected since 23:30 last night.

As the old saying goes, 'if it 'ain't broke, don't fix it'  I'll need to check it tomorrow now as I need a good solid connection to justify the reset.

could you please have a quick check of my line to determine if it has been stable enough to request the reset.
I am due to switch to Adsl2 on 21cn this week would making this change to snr confuse things in the system / process?
