I don't know whether to crash this thread or start a new one
I'm on a upto 8meg your way pro, for the majority of time I've been with plus.net my IP Profile has been 4500-4000
But today it is 135kbps
Here are my Speedtest results
Download speedachieved during the test was - 117 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 50-250 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :4224 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 135 Kbps
I've also logged a fault, although I've never had my ones from months ago acted on and have had my issues sorted through posting in the forum I believe

Practically 2 days since the problem began my BT speed test results are still:

For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 50-250 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :3648 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 135 Kbps
this is down from an IP Profile of between 4,000 & 4,500

Despite all the garbage about blip logic and big changes in IP profile happening quicker it can still take 3 days to correct itself
Do you have any idea what caused the low speed sync

No,
I had 12months perfect service achieving an almost constant 4.5 d/l speeds, and during my 2nd year, my max speed has been around 3meg, but I have had about 3 instances of sync drop out over the course of the year
And on each occasion my line has been reset to its 10 day training period and synced lower each time... until it finally drops out of sync again.
Quite fed up with it, but I know changing provider wouldn't help
