Have you noticed any problems using the phone since this started?

Also do you have a test socket? if so have you tried connecting there?

I'll see if it now stays up for longer than 24 hours, before trying to source a router to use.

I can see that your line has been in sync for over 15 hours, let's see how it is at the end of the day and then go from there.

Sync speed of 9675 with an attenuation of 29.5? It should be syncing around 15000!
Has it been banded?

@craigknighton, is the router plugged into the master socket and if not does that make any difference at all?

I am in the middle of trying a Belkin F5D8632-4 and using its developer zone I found this info
adslctl: ADSL driver and PHY status
Status: ShowtimeRetrain Reason: 8000
Channel: FAST, Upstream rate = 1112 Kbps, Downstream rate = 9410 Kbps
Link Power State: L0
Mode: ADSL2+
Channel: Fast
Trellis: U:ON /D:ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime
Down Up
SNR (dB): 9.0 5.8
Attn(dB): 30.0 13.8
Pwr(dBm): 0.0 12.9
Max(Kbps): 12344 1116
Rate (Kbps): 9410 1112
This is beginning to annoy me in all honesty, and is stopping me from 'upgrading' my account to 'Unlimited', as I don't want to be tied in to twelve months is the speed is going to keep dropping every time the router gets switched off (or we have a 10 second power cut which are common in mid-Lincolnshire).
