Likewise, I am having the exact same problems.  What is the alternative option?

Go to http://www.samknows.com/broadband/
and find your exchange
this will show you which wholesale Local Loop Unbundled operators on your exchange

That won't solve the problem if you are still on a BT copper loop. Better to stay with PN who will help you sort it than transfer the problem to another ISP and the help you might/will get will be sweet FA, especially if it is some of the 'big boys'.

Re: Random disconnections still persistent with interleaving switched on.

It will be a long time before BT will change over to optic fibre.  I was told by an openreach engineer it would be 2012 at the very earliest.  Sad
I have a choice of BT, wireless 3G (expensive) or cable.
My IP profile has increased to 3000 but I am only connecting at a pathetic 1MB, resetting the router does not help?

Mark.

How about now Mark?
Our profiled speed will update after the BT one, so sometimes you have to wait a little for it to catch up.

Re: Random disconnections still persistent with interleaving switched on.

Speed has improved now, but the problem is that the amount of disconnections increase as the broadband speed increases.
