Quick question - password to router

Hi there.

I'm just changing my router from OneHub. I've lost the email with the account password to set up internet.

The one I mean is where the username is p************@plus.dsl.net

I've logged into my account and it says that the password is hidden for security reasons but I can't seem to access it.

Thanks for your help!

P.

@pn0705

If you look on the log in page you will find a lost password tab. A new one should be emailed to you.

Re: Quick question - password to router

I think the one you need is your account password, which you set up when you joined, and should have taken a note of, because it will be hidden for security reasons.

Which browser do you use, as I know FireFox at least usually will remember any created PWs, if you say yes to its offer to do so.

Re: Quick question - password to router

Thanks Baldick and Jab1.

It is this one Jab. I always keep email in a specific folder but it's not there. I must have deleted it by mistake.

I believe that I'll need it to enter into the router settings to enable internet access.

Is there a way to re-set the password or get a reminder?

Re: Quick question - password to router

Thank you! I get slightly nervous with password changes and how they effect the router but all seems to be ok!

Re: Quick question - password to router

Hi - may be a red herring  but you may find that it is your user id that is the problem

router user name should be  ********@plusdsl.net

your original post mentioned  *******'@plus.dsl.net  which is incorrect

good luck
