Re: Profile kick

It depends how long it is since you last synced below 2848kbps.  If you maintain your current sync speed for 3 days your profile should move up to 2500kbps.

Re: Profile kick

Hi there,
You had a resync event at 2272Kbps yesterday afternoon.
As such, your profile should increase in a couple of days, based on the assumption that your sync speed remains the same or higher.

Re: Profile kick

profile is now 2500kbps but speed tests still showing 1.8mb/s....... so BT has updated, are plusnet is at fault?
I've simlified my internal wiring & removed the face plate on my master socket and used the test socket inside!
i have also disconnected the ring wire!
This made the SNR jump from 8 to 9, and added around 400kbps to my sync rate!
Any other mods i can do?
I will be disconnecting the router again today to install a shorter cable. so my router is virtualy on the master socket!

Re: Profile kick

Also WHY is my line resyncing at such a low rate?
Could someone pull up a log of my sync rates from the first 10 days of dsl MAX,
As im interested to see if my speed has droped!
i swear i had a solid 2.5 - 3Mb/s connection!

Re: Profile kick

Is there any way to get a look at re-sync history without having to pester customer support?
Date/time information would be really useful in tracking down recurring events.

Re: Profile kick

IP profile for your line is - 2500 kbps
    DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)  3232 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1789 kbps

Re: Profile kick

Just wondering, dose plusnet support bonded solutions?
Say if i was going to get a second line and bond the pair?
obv i will need to register a second account a pay twice!
But i like plusnet and their network! i'm hoping to host some servers and a small community wifi.

Re: Profile kick

PlusNet do not have a bonded product or the means to bond two existing broadband lines, just in case that was your next Q.

Re: Profile kick
